Well the only feeling I have right now is sadness, I remember when I was a freshman in high school thinking about my senior spring break trip and how I wanted to go to San Francisco so badly, most people would want to go to Cabo or to Miami, somewhere where the beaches were packed and everyone was partying and drinking and it was warm, but no...me...I wanted to go to the coldest place in California. I remember thinking it was only a distrant dream of mine, but then this past December, my parents got together with my 2 best friends parents for dinner at Panera, and they planned the whole thing. It was amazing how blessed I felt to be able to have the opportunity to go with no parents, our parents trusted us enough to send us off to a big city for 4 days and 3 nights. I never thought the day would come when I would get on the plane with my friends heading to San Fran, but the day has come and past. It's a bittersweet feeling.
We left on Sunday, March 24th at 8:10 AM on our way to San Fran, from there we went on the BART, it's like their cities version of a subway, and let me just tell you, I was freaked out! It was loud and a little crazy, but it was an experience and I was so happy to have the opportunity to go on it. Our hotel room was very small, but it was pretty and quaint and it did the job just fine, and it was in the heart of Union Square, so it made it even better. Although it has been sometime since the trip and since spring break, the memories will be forever. From taking the trolley back and forth from fisherman's wharf to union square and being freezing cold it was the best trip any senior 18 year old girl could ask for. There was a crazy guy on the trolley and smelly areas in Chinatown but they made the trip even better! The food was fantastic! All I can say is take me back!
Time has come and gone...but memories will never fade
